I'M SUPER FRIENDLY.

First I find you incredibly beautiful and absolutely inspiring. But I have a question how do you find the confidence to wear something that you know people might think is not for your body type?

Value your own judgement over the judgement of others when it comes to happiness x

Aka I have no fucks to give.

My favourite aspect of design in Japan is that cute is celebrated in the adult realm, normalized.

And I don’t mean this in the way of wearing rainbow coloured petticoats with a million Hello Kitty accessories - I mean it’s things like going into a beauty mart and picking up Minnie Mouse deoderant that comes in four scents, on the shelf next to Nivea. Being in a home and lifestyle store and finding your favourite mascots on sophisticated designer homeware. And, of course, my favourite example: that Barbie exists as an adult brand! it’s separate to trying to incorporate things designed intentionally for children. As someone who for the most part dresses like they had a sex tape leak then married Kanye West - I really find it so sweet and important.

If you’re an original you’ll never have to rely on other people’s ideas.
